Trail work dates have been posted on the Trail Work Page. Due to conflicting race dates and other trail work, it is impossible to schedule all our work on Saturdays with no conflicts. Please note that some Trail Work days are on Series race days and Sundays. Thank you.
Welcome to the Mt. Disappointment 50K Endurance Run where you can experience some of the finest trails and canyons of the San Gabriel Mountains. Our course is incredibly scenic, yet strenuous and challenging. We feature fully stocked aid stations as you become part of the semi-wilderness surroundings. The final climb to the summit of Mt Wilson up the Kenyon Devore Trail will test each runner with terrain and surroundings that are truly unique to these canyons.
We also have a kids run just prior to the 50 kilometer awards ceremony. Our trail maintenance group maintains all the trails we use. We have t-shirts, finisher’s medals, awards, raffle prizes, and a post race meal for the runners. Have an Angeles National Forest adventure…and run the Mt. Disappointment Endurance Race.
